What is the economic value of leisure?

There have been all sorts of studies that measure the value of leisure. In reality, everybody's preference curve is so different, that you have to do this on an individual basis. The most common way is simply to evaluate how much overtime people are willing to work and what premium you might have to pay to get them to accept it.
